Photometer Verification Kits

CHEMetrics® Verification Kits are available for the V-2000 and V-3000 series multi-analyte photometers and the Single Analyte Meter (SAM) series of dedicated photometers.

Ideal for instrument verification in the lab or the field, each Photometer Verification Kit is packaged in a compact, durable polypropylene carrying case.

CHEMetrics® Photometers are factory calibrated and use LED technology as a light source. The instrument calibration and the LED should not change under normal conditions of use. However, it is good quality protocol to routinely verify the performance of any LED photometer.

A spectrophotometer that is certified using NIST traceable optical standards has been used to verify that each ampoule in the kit performs within the established acceptance criteria, ensuring reliable results. CHEMetrics certifies that each Verification Kit has been manufactured and evaluated in accordance with strict Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) protocols and performs within specifications. A Certificate of Conformance is supplied with each kit that reports the permissible test value for each standard in the kit.

V-2000 Verification Kit

The V-0002 Verification Kit allows an analyst to quickly and routinely check the performance of CHEMetrics® V-2000 Photometer. Housed in a durable, compact, field-ready, polypropylene carrying case, the kit includes ampoules with dye solutions calibrated to the four LED wavelengths used by the V-2000. The refill contained in this kit has a shelf life of 6 months from the Date of Manufacture.

For V-2000 users, if you have not already done so, we would recommend updating your V-2000 software to the latest Method Revision, to ensure you have the most up-to-date calibrations on your photometer.

V-3000 Verification Kit

Whether you're in the lab or the field, routine verification is essential for maintaining measurement accuracy and staying compliant with QA protocols. The V-0003 Verification Kit helps you do just that – quickly and confidently.

The V-0003 Kit allows an analyst to quickly and routinely check the performance of CHEMetrics® V-3000 Photometer. Housed in a durable, compact, field-ready, polypropylene carrying case, the kit includes a set of 6 ampoules containing dye solutions that are specific to each of the 6 LED wavelengths in the V-3000 Photometer. The refill contained in this kit has a shelf life of 6 months from the Date of Manufacture.

For V-3000 users, if you have not already done so, we would recommend updating your V-3000 software to the latest Method Revision, to ensure you have the most up-to-date calibrations on your photometer.

SAM Verification Kit

The I-0003 Verification Kit for 530 nm Single Analyte Meters (SAMs) allows an analyst to quickly and routinely check the performance of the photometers listed below. Each kit includes a set of ampoules containing various dye solutions specific to the wavelength of the particular photometer.

Ozone SAM Verification Kit

The I-7433 Verification Kit is intended for customers who use the CHEMetrics Ozone Vacu-vials kit, K-7433, who would like to verify their CHEMetrics photometer against the factory calibration. The I-7433 is designed to verify the performance of the CHEMetrics I-2022 Ozone SAM. Each kit contains a set of ampoules containing various dye solutions specifically calibrated for the above photometer.

Hydrogen Peroxide Verification Kit

The I-5543 Verification Kit is intended for customers who use the CHEMetrics Hydrogen Peroxide Vacu-vials kit, K-5543, who would like to verify their CHEMetrics photometer against the factory calibration. The I-5543 is designed to verify the performance of the following CHEMetrics’ photometers: I-2016 Hydrogen Peroxide SAM, and the V-2000 and V-3000 Photometers (Program 95). Each kit contains a set of ampoules containing various dye solutions specifically calibrated for the above photometers.

Factory Verification Service

CHEMetrics offers a Photometer Verification Service for verifying the performance of your factory calibrated CHEMetrics® photometers. The verification service includes an update to the latest photometer calibration version where applicable, verification at three checkpoints across the test range, and the issue of a Certificate of Conformance. Please contact us to schedule the return of your photometer to Galgo.
