CHEMets: Low to Medium Range To perform a test, dip the tip of the CHEMet ampoule into the sample and gently snap off. The correct volume of sample is automatically drawn in, filling the ampoule. Invert the ampoule twice to facilitate mixing. In 2 minutes or less, the relevant colour change will have occurred and the result can be measured by comparing the ampoule to the appropriate colour standard. For higher concentrations, the flat comparator is used. For lower concentrations, the round comparator is used.
